Transportation from both San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport is available through local shuttle services. Advance reservations are recommended and may be made by phoning or faxing the service providers listed below. Rates given are currently in effect and may change before the conference.

To the ALS Users' Meeting at Berkeley Lab
Parking at Berkeley Lab is extremely limited so we strongly suggest attendees either carpool or plan use the complimentary shuttle service provided between the Berkeley City Club and Berkeley Lab each day. Buses will leave from the front of the hotel at 7:15 Thurday a.m., 7:45 Friday, and 8:00 a.m. Saturday.
For those not staying at the Berkeley City Club, parking is available
in the Sather Gate Garage located at 2450 Durant Ave. (two blocks from
the Hotel Durant). The parking lot is open from 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Parking is automated, with the maximum cost at $12.00 (for 8-18 hours).
To get to the Laboratory from the garage, you may board the regular Berkeley Lab shuttle bus at
Telegraph and Bancroft Streets (north side of street near the regular
AC Transit bus stop) and or use the special shuttle service from the Berkeley
City Club.
