Registration

The Advanced Light Source Users' Meeting will be held in the Building 50 Auditorium at Berkeley Lab beginning Thursday, October 20, 2005. Workshops will begin after lunch on Friday, October 21 and continue through Saturday, October 22. A hosted awards dinner/buffet will be held on the ALS patio on Friday evening. The final program and other materials will be available at the registration desk on Thursday, October 20, beginning at 7:30 A.M. in the lobby of the Building 50 Auditorium. The meeting will begin at 8:30 A.M.

Registration Fee

The early registration fee is $150.00 (regular) and $60.00 (student); after October 1, the registration fee will be $175.00 (regular) and $75.00 (student). Registration fees include:

Awards dinner (Friday evening)*
Attendance at all sessions
Meeting materials
Poster session
Reception for exhibitors (Thursday evening)
Student poster competition
Vendor exhibits
Workshops
Lunches (three days)
Coffee breaks

* Tickets for the buffet/dinner event will be available for accompanying persons at a cost of $15.00.

Before you register, please take a minute and consider nominating an ALS staff member or user whose extra effort deserves recognition with an ALS scientific or user support award.

Please register online at the ALS Users' Meeting 2005 Registration page. Payment is accepted by check, credit card or Berkeley Lab account number. Please remember that the early registration deadline is Saturday, October 1.
