An Introduction to Synchrotron Experimental Techniques
This workshop is geared towards students and those who are new to synchrotron
radiation and its applications. There are a plethora of experimental
techniques available to us here at the ALS. This workshop will provide
introductions to a number of them. In each seminar, three basic questions will
be addressed:
-
What is the question we’re trying to answer using this technique?
-
What are the techniques, samples, and equipment necessary to address
this question?
-
What does the data look like and how is it analyzed?
