Transportation to and from the conference site at Asilomar is available by air, bus, public transportation and rental car. Detailed travel information is available on Asilomars' Web site.
Travel by air
Monterey Peninsula Airport is the closest airport to Asilomar Conference Grounds, but it is generally more cost effective to fly into San Jose International Airport (SJC) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and either rent a car or take the Monterey/Salinas Air Bus. Reservations for the Air Bus are highly recommended. Call (831) 373-7777 for information and reservations.
The travel times to Asilomar from the San Francisco and San Jose airports are approximately 2.0 hours and 1.5 hours respectively.
