As part of this year's meeting, organizers held the first ALS Photography Contest. Members of the LBNL Photography Club had earlier spent a busy lunch hour photographing sites around the ALS and submitted their photos for the contest. Twenty-six photos were selected as finalists, and users' meeting attendees voted for the top three. The winning photo by Heather Pinto (Facilities), shows an artistic look at condensation; second place went to Daniel Parks (ALS), and Steve Kessler (IT), took third.
