Research Interests

Study of highly correlated electron systems with ultrahigh high energy and momentum resolution photoemission, resonant inelastic scattering spectroscopy and study of dynamics with coherent scattering.
Development of novel techniques with synchrotron radiation instrumentation for ambient pressure photoemission (up to 20 torr) and NEXAFS for the study of environmentally relevant materials, biological systems, surface catalytic reactions in presence of reactants and study of surface dynamics.
